Yes, that's the Capitol of the United States over my right shoulder!

This is the 1984 July 4th celebration in Washington, D.C. About 250,000 people! The audio company I worked for at the time provided the sound that day for the Beach Boys on the mall by the Washington Monument, and the Baltimore Symphony here on the Capitol steps. The Master of Ceremonies was to be Charlton Heston and I remember being so excited to meet him. Then, for some reason he was unable to attend.  E.G. Marshall took his place.    Quite a nice man, and I don't think anyone in the crowd was disappointed, including me.
